STUCK?

BRING IT TO
THE TABLE.

Building or renovating?

Bring your plans. Bring your samples.
Bring the thing that's keeping you awake.

Expressions of interest are now open for our first founding group. No payment required.

FOR THE

“WHAT THE HELL DO I CHOOSE?”

MOMENTS

You've saved 147 kitchens to Pinterest.
You've got three flooring samples that somehow look completely different at home than they did in the showroom.
You're still not convinced about the kitchen layout.
And your builder would quite like an answer by Friday.

Building or renovating comes with a lot of decisions.
Some are exciting. Some are expensive. Some affect ten other decisions.
And some seem ridiculously difficult considering you're apparently just choosing a tile.

You don't always need someone to make those decisions for you.
Sometimes you need somewhere to talk them through, compare the options and work out what feels right for your home.

That's The Home Table.

Hands comparing stone, timber and tile samples for a home renovation.

Real questions.
 Real options.
  Real progress.

SO, WHAT IS

THE HOME TABLE?

The Home Table is for people who are actually in it.

Building. Renovating. Choosing. Changing their minds. Saving inspiration. Comparing samples. Questioning the floor plan. And occasionally wondering why choosing a white paint has become a three-week event.

It's a place for building and renovation support, helping you work through the decisions you're making as your home comes together

You'll find short, useful resources to help you understand your options, a community where you can bring your actual questions, and real conversations where we can work through the trickier stuff together.

No perfect-home pressure.

No need to have it all figured out.

Just bring what you've got.

LEARN. ASK. WORK IT OUT.

Practical support for the decisions you're making.

LEARN

Short, practical video resources for the decisions that come up along the way.

Think finding your style, setting up useful Pinterest boards, narrowing your selections, looking at layouts, comparing materials and working out how everything fits together.

Not a giant course you have to complete.

Watch what you need, when you need it.

ASK

Got two tiles and can't pick one?

Something bothering you about your floor plan?

Wondering whether your cabinetry, flooring and benchtop actually work together?

Bring it to the community.

Share your plans, samples, inspiration and ideas in the online community and get another set of eyes on the thing you've been staring at for far too long.

WORK IT OUT

Join our regular Around the Table sessions and bring whatever you're currently stuck on.

A kitchen layout. Three exterior colours. Your bathroom selections. A floor plan. A Pinterest board that's gone completely off the rails.

We'll put it on the table and work through it together.

INSPIRATION

IF IN DOUBT, LEAVE IT OUT.

It's something I've told myself for years.

Clothes. Furniture. Floor plans. Colours. Materials. Pretty much anything.

If something doesn't sit right, don't choose it simply because you feel like you should.

Take it out.
Narrow things down.
Compare what's left.
Talk it through.

And wait for the

The Home Table isn't about telling you what your home should look like.

It's about helping you work out what feels right for yours.

"Yep. That's it"

HI, I'M MEL.

Portrait of The Home Table founder, Melodee Miller.

I create photorealistic 3D visualisations for homeowners, designers and builders, helping people see their homes before its built.
But somewhere along the way I realised that one of my favourite parts of what I do happens before the final image.
It's the conversations.
Moving things around. Comparing colours. Looking at samples. Questioning a layout. Trying another option. Talking through the “What if we did this instead?”
Being a sounding board while somebody works out what they actually want.
The Home Table grew from those conversations.
I don't believe you need somebody to make every decision for you.
Sometimes you just need the right information, another perspective and somewhere to spread everything out and work it out.

So pull up a chair.

WE'RE STARTING SMALL.

The Home Table will begin with an 8-week founding pilot for Australians currently building or renovating.
This first group will help shape what The Home Table becomes.
We'll test the resources.
We'll bring real decisions to the community.

We'll find out what you need more of, and what you don't.
We'll build it from there.

We'll meet Around the Table

The founding pilot is planned to be $49 for the full eight weeks.
But you don't need to pay anything today.
Right now, we're simply looking for people who think:
“Yep. I could use this.”

Think                                             might be exactly what you need while you're building or renovating?

Tell me a little about what you're working on, where you're up to and the decisions that are currently doing your head in.

There's no payment and no obligation at this stage - you're simply putting your hand up to hear more about our first founding group.

The Home Table

SAVE ME A
SEAT.

What are you currently doing?
Would you consider joining the 8-week founding pilot for $49?
Yes
Maybe - I'd like to know more
Not right now

I'd love to have you at the table.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING.

Is The Home Table an interior design service?

No. The Home Table is about helping you work through your own ideas and decisions rather than designing your entire home for you. Where something needs specialist professional advice, we'll always encourage you to speak with the appropriate designer, builder, draftsperson, engineer or other qualified professional.

Do I need to know my style before I join?

Definitely not. If your current design style is “I have 600 Pinterest saves and apparently I like everything”, you'll fit right in. Helping you identify what you're consistently drawn to,  and remove some of the noise,  is exactly the sort of thing we'll work on.

Are 3D renders included?

No. Photorealistic 3D visualisation is a separate service. But if you're genuinely stuck between options and seeing them in your actual space would help, we can talk about creating a render separately.

What will be in the resource library?

Short, practical videos and resources you can use as you need them. We'll start with some of the big ones,  including finding your style, using Pinterest properly, narrowing selections and thinking through your choices,  then let the questions coming from our founding members help determine what we create next.

What are the Around the Table sessions?

Regular live online sessions where members can bring real questions and decisions and we'll work through them together. Plans. Samples. Screenshots. Ideas. Bring whatever you've got.

Can I privately message Mel whenever I need help?

The Home Table isn't designed as unlimited one-to-one access. I'll be actively involved in the community and Around the Table sessions, but keeping most conversations within the group means everyone gets to learn from the questions being asked. If you need dedicated one-to-one help, private sessions may be available separately.

What happens after the eight weeks?

That's partly what the pilot is going to help us discover. We'll ask our founding members what was useful, what was missing and whether they'd like to continue as The Home Table develops into an ongoing membership. There'll be no obligation to continue.

STILL STUCK?
BRING IT TO THE TABLE.

Plans, samples, ideas and everything in between.
